Tanya Bulette

Tanya Bulette Tanya (Vogan) Bulette starred in her first JT production, "Jack and the Beanstalk" as the front half of Betsy the Cow. She later went on to perform in shows such as "FAME" (Doris' Mom), "No, No Nannette" (Betty), "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" (Lucy), and "Grease" (Rizzo). Tanya graduated in 1990 from Monte Vista High School and attended San Diego State University where she earned a degree in Journalism with a minor in Advertising.
Tanya never stopped performing and throughout college performed in over 9 different musicals with Christian Community Theatre. Many of her castmates were friends from JT!
Tanya was also featured in the 1996 Sea World Commercial "Rockin' Summer Nights". In 1997, she married her high school friend, Steve Bulette, Jr. who played the lead role "Johnny" in Tim McGraw's popular music video, "Don't Take the Girl". Currently, you can see both Steve and Tanya on Sunday mornings on Turning Point, WB Channel 5 (San Diego), performing periodically in the dramas for Shadow Mountain Community Church. She and her husband have been members of the SMCC Drama Team since 1995.
Tanya is now a Guidance Counselor and Steve is a Math Teacher and Wrestling Coach at their alma mater, Monte Vista. They have two young boys, Gage (8) and Jake (6) who are now students at Junior Theatre.
