Adam Stein After college Adam moved to New York and started acting. He played a small role in Julie Taymor's production of Titus Andronicus, got an Equity card and went to Chicago to do a two-hander at Steppenwolf, then returned to graduate school at NYU where he got an MFA in 1998. Since then, he's been acting professionally doing shows at regional theatres all over the country, and appeared on Broadway for a year in The Lion King as Zazu the blue hornbill. One of his biggest thrills was coming back to San Diego to play the lead role in Don Juan at the Old Globe Theatre. Over the last couple of years he's transitioned into writing. He's had articles published in GQ, the New York Times Magazine, and Glamour, and he's currently on the writing staff of a new television show shooting in New York called "Damages," starring Glenn Close. He plans to act again someday but he's enjoying seeing where this particular road takes him. In addition, he has a three year old son named Somerset and he's in a band called The Petersons (www.myspace.com/essexonhaughatuck).
