Ole Kittleson Ole Kittleson joined SDJT as a student in 1950 and performed in 8 plays and musical. In later years he directed over 20 plays/musicals for the organization. He also served 2 years as President of the SDJT Board of Directors. Now’s that for a FULL CIRCLE!! Ole appeared off-Broadway in NYC in “Leave It To Jane” and “Little Mary Sunshine” and has appeared/directed over 60 musicals for Starlight Musical Theatre. He has also directed/performed at the Welk Resort Theatre, Diversionary Theatre, North Coast Rep, La Jolla Playhouse, Old Glove Theatre, Schroeder’s Club & Cabaret, 6th@Penn and Moonlight. He is the co-founder of the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts and was inducted into the San Diego Theatre Hall of Fame (2004) by San Diego City Schools, Old Globe and La Jolla Playhouse. He is the lyricist for over 25 published musicals with Samuel French, Pionner Drama and Bakers Plays. The Little Theatre at SDSCPA was recently named the Ole Kittleson Little Theatre. In 2004 Starlight named him as their Man-of-the-Year.
