2 Ways To Register
Registration is accepted through the first week of the session. However, we are strict about class size limits, and classes do fill. Please register early for best selection.

Payment
Full payment at the time of registration is required to secure a student’s place in a class. There is one multiple class / sibling discount of $10.00 off any additional classes.
Service Charges
A $15.00 service charge will be attached to any check returned by the bank due to insufficient funds.
Cancellations / Refunds
Cash refunds (less $25.00 service charge per child, per class) are available up until seven days prior to the start of class, after which time no refund is given. If Junior Theatre must cancel a clas due to insufficient enrollment, any tuition paid will be refunded in full. Note: Once a child has auditioned for a mainstage play, there are no refunds or tuition credit granted.
Confirmation of Classes
A letter confirming class dates and times will be sent after your registration is processed. If you don’t receive a confirmation within two weeks of sending your registration, please call (619) 239-1311 to check that your form has been received and processed.
Tuition Assistance
Limited need-based tuition assistance is available to families who would not otherwise be able to participate in our program. An application is required, and must be accompanied by your last three pay stubs or other valid proof of income. Assistance is evaluated on a first-come, first-served basis. Final deadline for Fall applications is September 2, 2003. Call (619) 239-1311 to request an application.
Class Size
Class size is limited to 20 students for ages 6 and up, and 10 students per teaching artist for ages 3-4. Class size limits for age 5 depend on whether the class is for ages 4-5 (10 children) or ages 5-7 (20 children). Certain classes may have smaller limits, and this will be noted in the course description. We will do our best to accomodate all students, and we may add an additional section of a class, or add a teaching artist to an existing class. We will always maintain at least the teacher-student ratio listed above. Junior Theatre does not allow parents, un-enrolled friends or other visitors in the classes.
Pre-requisites and Age Requirements
Some classes have pre-requisites to insure that students in classes are at the same level. We list pre-requisites as Junior Theatre classes, but other prior experience is acceptable. Students must be within the age range designated for each class by the start date of class in order to enroll.
Inclusion
Junior Theatre welcomes students of all levels of ability. San Diego Junior Theatre receives funding from Kids Included Together for the inclusion of differently-abled children in our program. If your child has special needs, please contact our Education Director at (619) 239-1311, ext. 222, prior to the start of the session.
Photography
San Diego Junior Theatre frequently uses photographs of students enjoying classes and productions in advertising and publications. If you do not want your child's image used in this way, please call the main office at (619) 239-1311.
