Beloved schoolgirl Madeline learns a timeless lesson in compassion when she cares for several of her classmates who unexpectedly cannot go home for the holidays. It could have been the saddest Christmas ever, but for Madeline and her eleven friends, it turns into a memorable holiday adventure.
